Charging into Charleston

RIFC travel to Charleston to take on the second placed Battery

RIFC head into their final two matches with almost every scenario in the air. The team sits one point out of a home playoff match and five points out of no playoffs at all. Two wins and we may have an extra game at Beirne or drop both matches and there’s a (very slim) chance of no playoffs at all. What a time to be alive!

With the team tied for second in the league in points over their last five, combined with the return of league leading playmaker Noah Fuson, it’s the perfect time for the team to put in a performance and clinch the playoffs with a a win.

It’ll be tough going as the Battery are no slouches. Having already clinched the second seed in the East, the Battery are particularly good at home, losing just once there this campaign. Some may say that’s fantastic, others may say that they’re due. I’m going to fall into the latter camp purely based on vibes and my rooting interests.
