RIFC clinch a postseason berth with a draw against NCFC

PLAYOFFS!? PLAYOFFS!?
In a lackluster performance compared to the blistering pace The Tide have been on, RIFC managed to come away with the single point that they needed to clinch a second consecutive postseason appearance.
With JJ Williams out, this match was always going to be a bit of an uphill battle. In a match where neither team could really get a foothold, there was a JJ Williams-sized hole in our offense.
At the end of the day, it was a disjointed 90 minutes that featured 10 offsides and only one big chance created (that was missed). A draw was fair to both teams but a questionable use of subs will always leave this game as a “what if” for me.
With one match to go, we can start dreaming about the playoff run. Do you believe?
