Derby Days Mean More

What a night for soccer in New England! All three points and one Hartford Athletic fan stayed in Smithfield Saturday night after an emphatic 3-0 Rhode Island FC win. There was plenty of hype going into the second ever [INSERT YOUR FAVORITE DERBY NICKNAME] Derby and it did not disappoint.

The only thing better than RIFC on the pitch Saturday night was the atmosphere off of it. The tailgate was packed early, the Defiance was rocking and the merch tent lines were long (shout out to those beautiful purple keeper kits). There were Jell-O shots, there were fireworks and there were goals for the home team. Big shoutout to the Defiance 1636 and the club for all of the work behind the scenes to pull off a day that all of us will remember for a long time. Now on to the content:
