RIFC add squad depth while saying goodbye to a key squad member

It’s been a while, friends! Last time we chatted, RIFC had just announced their initial squad decisions and Maxi Rodriguez signed on from Detroit. While The Tide started the offseason HOT we’ve seen Coach Khano and team continue to refine the roster ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Saying Goodbye to Stephen Turnbull

We’re going to start with the sad one. Turnbull was a key contributor during the inaugural RIFC season, racking up 36 appearances for The Tide and adding in four goals from right wing back. We wish Stephen nothing but the best as he heads to Birmingham

Reinforcements keep rolling

We saw a trio of signings come in after Maxi Rodriguez this offseason, each filling a different need for this squad. One editor’s note here is that my conclusion on the Dani Rovira signing would be a bit different with the departure of Turnbull. It’ll be interesting to see who can make that spot theirs this season.
