The Tide host Portland Hearts of Pine in the Jägermeister Cup

IT’S GAMEDAY IN PAWTUCKET. While The Tide have underperformed in the league this season, they’ve had a strong showing in the Jägermeister Cup, winning their first two matches on the road against Westchester and Pittsburgh.

With two matches left in group play, Rhode Island FC need to capitalize on home field advantage against Portland tonight and that lot down Route 6 next month. RIFC currently lead Group 4 and it’s pivotal they stay on top as finishing second in your group does not guarantee that you move on to knockout play.

Having already played the Hearts of Pine in the Open Cup earlier this year, The Tide will look to repeat their performance in front of the home fans at Centreville Bank Stadium tonight. I can’t wait to be there, pretzel in hand.
