It’s Kids Night in Pawtucket, folks and with that, another sellout at Centreville Bank Stadium. As it’s kids night, RIFC are pulling out all the stops. School supply donations, free tickets, a never before seen in North America halftime show and welcoming league leaders Louisville City FC to Rhode Island.
Last year, Rhode Island had been Louisville’s kryptonite going 2-1-0 against the Player’s Shield winners including a 3-0 win in the Eastern Conference Final. While The Tide cemented themselves as the official bogey team in 2024, that title ran dry earlier this season with a 2-1 loss in Louisville.
Can RIFC keep the momentum rolling after a 1-0 win against Charleston last week? Will Louisville continue their march towards the points per match record in a USL Championship season?
Only time, a few jello shots and a lovely night in Pawtucket can answer that one.
