Light Up the Lights
RIFC take down Las Vegas 3-1 (technically 3-0)
WOOOOOOOOOOOO
In a year devoid of many memories at our new home, The Tide put on quite the show in the final 20+ minutes of their match with the Las Vegas Lights.
For the first 70 minutes, this was following all of the same plot points of a story we’ve seen all season. Zero chance creation, minimal shots and down 1-0 on a fluke goal. The obituary for 2025 RIFC was already underway.
But a few key subs, a formation change and the energy of a nearly sold out crowd led RIFC to score three unanswered goals to take this one home.
Now, as you may have heard by now, all of this was for naught as Las Vegas had to forfeit the match due to subbing on a player who they had marked unavailable for the match in their official roster. However, the team getting to feel like they earned the win, along with an offensive breakout, can only help this team continue to grow their momentum heading into the final four matches of the campaign.
Riptide Report
Hands correctly focuses his highlights on the second half in this one. What a rollercoaster.
Player Ratings
I think I’m in full agreement on Timmy’s Ratings. Assuming that means the apocalypse is coming or something.
