Long Live Owen Goal

It wasn’t pretty but the boys got the job done. In a must win game against the team occupying the last playoff spot, RIFC had to win this one by any means necessary.

While we had plenty to say about the lineup decisions, referee and the performance of this one, at this point in the season, all that matters is who takes home the points at the end of each match.

With two wins in their past three league matches, RIFC have started to pick up a bit of momentum in the league. With a few winnable games on the horizon, The Tide could start to solidify their playoff position if the performances continue to improve.

However, as someone who has used the word ‘momentum’ in this newsletter a ton this season, I’ll believe it when I see it.
