Friends, how are the vibes out there? How are the people feeling? It was a tough week for RIFC Nation. Dropping all three points at Pittsburgh was bad enough, but seeing NCFC and Birmingham get some impressive results was truly painful.

The boys now sit in seventh, three points above Loudon in ninth (who have a game in hand) and six points off of Tampa in third. I’ve said this basically every Friday newsletter so far but this shit is pretty insane. Truly the parity that Roger Goodell could only dream of. One or two teams are going to have their hearts absolutely stomped on at the end here and oh man I don’t know if I can handle it if RIFC are one of them.

Cool new thing of the week:

We launched a new tool on the Tide Talk site that I’m personally very excited about. Timmy worked some excel magic and made a playoff picture tool outlining each Eastern Conference team’s magic number for the playoffs as well as all relevant tie breakers.

He’ll be updating this weekly as we get down the homestretch. Really appreciate Timmy’s hard work on this one!
