RIFC head down to Charleston for an ECF Rematch to kick off the 2025 season

Friends, we’ve almost made it. We endured a New England winter full of cold rain, the holidays and most importantly, no RIFC.

With no RIFC, the team at Tide Talk HQ was going a little stir crazy. Timmy and Kevin went on obscene diets, Matt Hands has broken the world record for hours spent on Balatro, Andrew has us writing blogs that argue against each other and Matt and I tried, but failed, to regrow our hair. Next stop is the Tide Talk visit to Turkey.

But all of that changes tomorrow night. Saturday at 7:30pm we finally get to see V2 of Rhode Island FC. If you’ve read, heard or watched anything we’ve put out this offseason, first of all, thank you but secondly you’ll know that we’re incredibly excited.

RIFC kept the core of the Eastern Conference Champion team, added all-league midfielder Maxi Rodriguez and are opening a brand new stadium (not sure if you’ve heard that). No matter what, this will be a year to remember and I absolutely can’t wait to get started.

RIFC 101
