RIFC stay top of their group in the Jaegermeister Cup

While it wasn’t the greatest game that I’ve ever watched, RIFC got the job done Saturday night down in Pittsburgh. In a game that will be remembered more for the trains and fouls called, RIFC had a mature away performance, going up 1-0 then holding on to the lead.

This win keeps RIFC at the top of their Jaegermeister Cup group. Winning the group is key in this competition and going 2-0-0 in the two road legs of this group is huge for The Tide. Take care of business next match against Portland and it’s a showdown with H*rtford for the group. Now that’s fun.
