Successful Saturday in San Antonio

RIFC leave San Antonio with all three points after a 3-1 victory

Sometimes you tune into a match and within minutes you know that you’re witnessing an all time performance. Zidane against Brazil, Henry against Real Madrid, Mbappe and Messi in the World Cup final, the list goes on. Lucky for all of us, we were blessed with another all timer on Saturday.

The way that man brandished his yellows, blew his whistle and misunderstood the laws of the sport was a sight to behold. I should have been forced to pay even more money to watch him do his job. Luckily, we were with a great crowd with even better beer at Providence Brewing. Thank you again to Providence Brewing and all of you who continue to support!

While we were subject to yet another horrific USL Championship refereeing performance on Saturday night, we at least got to see RIFC take away all three points in this must win game, though it wasn’t without casualties.

With Noah Fuson picking up a red card and Jojea Kwizera reaching the yellow card limit, we’ll be missing our two top playmakers against Tampa. But that’s a problem for, well a few days from now.

To the content:

It’s the end of the month and you know what the means - Andrew Quadros is back with his Tide Chart. For once, I have no complaints.

Matt Hands tries to use GIFs and words to make us feel a bit better about the carnage coming out of this one

Timmy was a bit kind to a certain defender in this one. I’ll let you figure out who I’m referring to

FQB hosts his weekly Quahog Corner. Make sure you tune in live next Monday at 9pm on Twitter and add your takes!

Finally, Matt and I break down this performance of a lifetime and try and sneak in a bit of RIFC talk too

Up the Tide!
