TONIGHT: Tide Talk Live from High Motor Bar & Grille

We made it. 11 days without our beloved RIFC was simply 11 days too many.

It’s funny how your weeks fall into a certain rhythm when they’re usually capped by a repeating event. Come last Saturday, I had no idea what to do with myself by 7pm.

While this hasn’t been the most fun season, it’s the ritual of gathering with your friends to cheer on a common cause that makes all of this so special. As we always say, it’s all about the community around this club, not just what’s on the pitch.

Speaking of, tonight Defiance 1636 will be hosting a pregame party at High Motor Bar & Grille in Pawtucket ahead of this one. This will be in lieu of the normal tailgate so if you’re looking to party with Defiance, High Motor is the place.

The “tailgate” starts at 4 and will include a Tide Talk live show starting at 5:30. March to the match will proceed at 6:25.

Get there early and get a few drinks in you to make the live show even more fun. We absolutely can’t wait.

Double Pivot

Andrew and Timmy took advantage of the off-week for RIFC and did their first ever Double Pivot live this week. As with any first live show, there were technical snafus, a lively comment section and a great discussion on what’s been going on with Rhode Island FC this year.

Matt Hands does a great job getting us up to speed on what’s happened so far during this Jaegermeister cup run and covering the key storylines ahead of tonight’s quarterfinal matchup against familiar foes, the Birmingham Legion.
