Well would you look at that! With three wins in their last 5 league matches, Rhode Island FC have continued to hang on to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Have these been pretty performances? God no. But that doesn’t matter at all this time of year. This was now the 11th time RIFC have been involved in a 1-0 match, with The Tide improving their record in 1-0 matches to 7-4.
With their past five wins ending with a scoreline of 1-0, I think we’ve finally found the magic formula for RIFC.
