Four games to go and everything to play for. With Indy’s loss last night, RIFC now hold their playoff destiny in their hands. Win today and they are back in eight place, just one point behind Detroit City FC. Lose and, well we’ll cross that bridge if we have to on Tide Talk tomorrow night.

In a season with some ups and many downs, the run in really narrows the focus. Perform and all the sins of this season can be forgiven. Don’t show up? That’s when the uncomfortable conversations start.

It’s not all gloomy in RIFC-land. The Tide have found a formula to pick up points. Is it the most fun version of this sport that you’ll ever watch? Absolutely not. But it’s picking up points which is all that matters.

With the team starting to find a spark and a hopefully healthy Maxi Rodriguez returning, it’s now the time to keep building the momentum so that the tide is high heading into the playoffs.
